Job Description
Contract Role / Part Time
Instructors shall support training center to deliver training and assessment to Technicians and Graduates, using currently available training hand-outs and materials in a classroom setting as well as virtual classrooms. Instructors will also perform and oversee hands-on exercises of live lab equipment and simulators.
Instructors will conduct a full review of all associated training materials, make recommendations, and implement updating of all training programs.
Instructors will take an active part reviewing training alignment with future business needs and technical challenges.
Instructors will support the wider Team and Learning Community in any other Training or Learning & Development initiatives identified for their related Job.
Effective communicator with strong writing skills that exhibit solid interpersonal skills and positive energy.
5-10 Years Experience Electrical in Oil & Gas Industry
Preferred (not required) instructors home location Louisiana, within 4 to 6 hours commute time to Robert LA.
Electrical Instructor Experience
Certified Professional Industrial Electrical Qualification (NCCER).
Electrical Engineering Degree (Experience with Operational Support of Industrial Facilities/Systems) or equivalent (job experience and capability)
Electrical Offshore/Onshore Oil and Gas Production Maintenance and Equipment Reliability expertise.
Other Industrial Sector s Electrical expertise (Military, Nuclear, Manufacturing etc.).
Electrical Areas Of Expertise:
1. NEC and NFPA 70e Knowledge
2. 120, 208, 240, 480, 4160 and 6900 volts systems, equipment and distribution. (motors, transformers, switchgear, transmission, controls, generation)
3. Power Generation (Solar Gas Turbines)
4. Troubleshoot Electrical/HVAC
5. Power Distribution Systems
6. Electrical and electronic theory
7. UPS Systems
