Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for initiating all sales paperwork for returned material orders, Returned Unit Disposition Reports (RUDRs), Project Authorization Numbers, as well as ensuring the completeness and accuracy of customer order information.



The Repair Administrator is responsible for the mainframe on line order entry function. To perform this responsibility, the incumbent must learn sales file coding (i.E., product line codes, territory codes and commission codes), have rudimentary data processing knowledge, be well versed in the Job Order system and possess basic CRT terminal usage skills. The incumbent is responsible for providing repair price and delivery information in a timely manner to the customer, researching prices from existing price lists and hardware availability from production control personnel. If current pricing is not available, the incumbent is responsible for initiating an internal Request for Quotation to obtain the appropriate pricing information. The incumbent maintains records for transactions for tracking purposes and periodic log summary reports for management review. The incumbent has regular telephone contract with domestic and international customer personnel in procurement, scheduling and accounting and must display a helpful, friendly and supportive manner in assisting them while protecting company interests. The incumbent deals with other internal departments and must exhibit tact, poise and good judgment with a minimum of supervision.



The tasks accomplished by this position are many and varied and the incumbent must possess the personal qualities needed to handle pressure from demanding customers, and effectively deal with people both inside and outside the Company to resolve conflict and to provide quick and accurate follow up information. All direct personal contact and correspondence must reflect a high caliber of intelligence, conciseness, clarity and good usage of the English language. Some overtime will be required during peak load periods.

In order to satisfactorily meet the requirements of the position, it is expected that the incumbent's background would include a minimum Associates Degree, preferably in business or technical discipline and at least three years working experience, or HS Diploma / GED equivalent of seven years working experience in a sales related environment, preferably with a high-technology product.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $20.00-28.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
