Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. Conducts software inspection, testing, verification and validation. Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objects and/or contract. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Required Qualifications:

Technical Engineering Bachelor s Degree.

Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.

Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction.

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.

Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Demonstrated Presentation skills.

Ability to travel.

Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.



Desired Skills:

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.

ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).

SAP Application Experience.

IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.

First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.

Special Process Engineering Experience.

Material Review Board (MRB) experience

Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.

Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and

auditing/surveying capabilities.

Experience working with Government customers.

Audit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience.

Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing.

Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $39.00-49.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
