This opportunity is onsite and located  in Houston, TX 77072
Schedule: 9/80- Monday-Friday with rotating Fridays off

The primary focus of this role will be cost tracking and analysis for a large onshore capital project. This is a Houston based role supporting a large EPC contract from the contractor s office.


Essential Job Duties:
-Compile, analyze, and report project cost and schedule data
-Steward Project specific Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for project expenditures
-Steward project cost budget tracking, cost forecasting, report variances and trends to support early identification of project trends
-Provide support to track project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends, critical path and productivity analysis
-Prepare project status reports and presentations, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and changes on a monthly basis
-Review and process invoices from major vendors for T&M agreements
-Develop custom project reports as needed to facilitate project analysis
-Assist with purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders as needed with supply chain -Steward the projects purchase order register for tracking costs
-Produce S-Curves, trend analysis and quantity tracking
-Develop and adhere to Project Controls Plan as necessary
-Consolidate project cost data and supporting documentation from all ongoing EPC contracts for the project
-Develop reports on actual costs, variances, trends and re-forecasting
-Develop and maintain detailed Cash Flow and Commitment profiles throughout the project phases
-Review and validate contractual compliance of project invoices
-Assist and support project controls specialist and project manager in financial project close-out
-At the completion of the project, develop and ensure recording of the project s historical cost information and lessons learned
-Facilitate, coordinate, and support the project risks management process
-Prepare Owners project cost estimates in conjunction with project management personnel.
-Produce and report to Finance department the Value of Work and Outlook on a monthly basis.
-Provide support to schedule development from the owner perspective
-Looking for ways to improve project controls practices and processes from the owner s perspective



Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-Bachelor s degree, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls
-Significant working experience with Cost Control, Earned Value Management, Budgets, Estimating, Change Management, Planning, Forecasting, Reporting Progress and Performance, and Project Funding
-Strong analytical/problem solving skills
-Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to read, write and speak in English
-Ability to analyze complex datasets and deliver clear, articulate, and concise messages in a compelling manner
-Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in various aspects of project controls, accounting, estimating, planning/scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting/ reporting
-Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
-Basic experience and understanding of estimating, forecasting, and benchmarking
-Good interpersonal and collaborating skills
-Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately and largely self-directed, handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities


The pay range for this position is $85.00-$90.58 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.


Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
