This position will be on Alaska s North Slope
The Project Controls Specialist shall perform project control activities on specific projects, including essential functions below. Team members at this level are responsible for completing routine aspects of project control assignments with minimal oversight.
Essential Functions
Prepare and update status reports, project budgets/costs reports, progress measurement reports, and other related activities.
Prepare and update key project management reports for the purposes of supporting decisions and direction of the overall project.
Support the change and trend management process. Preparing change management documents for the project, including monitoring, and tracking of cost and schedule.
Assist in analysis of staffing and manpower plans.
Interface with stakeholders, contractors, and management for reporting and cost tracking purposes.
Create periodic project analysis of gathered data through verification and validation to support project control metrics.
Provide timely and accurate project controls reporting and communication to management for large Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
Basic/Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of Project Controls experience or bachelor s degree in a business related major or engineering/construction management
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Access, PPT)
Preferred Qualifications
5 plus years Project Controls experience
SAP Experience Preferred
Some MS Project or Primavera knowledge
Some knowledge of oil and gas engineering and construction processes
Competencies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Results Oriented
Ability to cope in a positive and productive manner within a high-pressure environment as expected in a Project with an aggressive schedule.
Education: Bachelor s degree or experience in lieu of degree
Work Schedule: 9-80 Schedule (9Hr Days) - 5 days on / 2 days off
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
