Roles and Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Participate in development of project, Construction, and Turnaround schedules.



  2. Provide Scheduling expertise relating the integration, controls, and management of projects, including project planning and scheduling, manpower planning, cost control and risk management.



  3. Develop and monitor, with the project team, project execution strategy and tactical plans to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness for individual projects.



  4. Apply scheduling methods and procedures for the project phases, such as design, fabrication, construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning, and turnarounds of upstream and downstream major projects for International and Domestic operations.



  5. Implement guidelines and procedures to organize and schedule project work, taking account of time and resource constraints.



  6. Provide accountability/audit trail of major project decisions, to minimize company commercial risk in development of project schedules through detailed coding and baselining.



  7. Monitor and report on contractor progress and performance. Identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.



  8. Assume the Lead position over the assigned Primavera file to assure that items are not added or removed after control estimate is complete without proper documentation.



  9. Assure that all coding is correct in the Primavera schedules based on MPC Best Practices.



  10. Manage the scheduling system and be responsible for supporting and training contractor and company planners.



  11. Manage the effort of manpower levelling the entire file and producing histograms to develop hiring plans for Const., Pre., TAR and Post.



  12. Interfacing with Project Controls to pass on man-hours for check estimates / control estimates



  13. Possess an ability to recognize obvious work scope mistakes in plans that are wanting to be entered into the schedule.



  14. Work with the cost team in receiving the expended hours, analyzing the data and providing productivity reports.



  15. Ensure that the schedule reflects the event s worklist and that the proper plans are added and removed accordingly.



  16. Produce and distribute daily/weekly schedules, daily/weekly progress/curves/bar charts for assigned construction and turnarounds and any other requested reports from P6 and/or Analytics.



  17. Should understand float paths and manage critical path scopes of work



  18. Mentor and troubleshoot schedule logic and coding problems for users.



  19. Must be proficient in P6/Primavera including administration responsibilities using EPPM. This position is also the site s P6 administrator as well as all scheduling applications such as STOx, Maxavera, Analytics, etc.



  20. Provide insight and feedback to the corporate SMEs on areas of improvement.



  21. Should understand the MPMP deliverables (related to schedules/RRD-1905) including Schedule Basis, Schedule Management Plan, Holding Interactive Planning Sessions, establishing appropriate float & logic, contingency.



  22. Must understand IPS integration with Project WBS, CWP Matrix and P6.



  23. Engineering Scheduler s are additionally responsible for supporting Schedule Quality Assessments (by phase gate) and IPA Benchmarking.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.



  • Must be proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook, and P6/Primavera.





Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.


Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $65.00-$80.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
