Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

The person performing the Project Analyst role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing data-related processes within projects and programs to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing data management practices, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the success of projects.
Responsibilities include:
Data Strategy and Planning:
o Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives.
o Develop and implement data management strategies and plans aligned with project goals.
Data Quality Management:
o Define and monitor data quality standards and metrics.
o Implement data cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes as needed.
o Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Perform data analysis to extract insights and support decision-making.
o Create and maintain data dashboards and reports for project stakeholders.
Data Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization in data management.
o Implement tools and technologies to streamline data processes.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
o Maintain documentation related to data processes, standards, and procedures.
o Provide guidance and training to project teams on data-related best practices.
Fiscal Accountability
o Perform program and project monthly financial reconciliation, budget analyses, and cost
control processes.
o Support development and management of project/program budgets,
o Support with internal/external finance and resource reporting requirements,
o Respond to internal/external queries of a finance or resource utilization

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Five (5) years of project support experience in an analyst role.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word (e.G., develop table of contents, create templates, maintain headers/footers, tracking changes, etc.), Excel (e.G., vlookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs, formulas, etc.), PowerPoint (e.G., develop slides, create templates, format slides, write content, etc.)

Bachelor s Degree



Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.



Preferred Skills:



Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.G., Data Science, Information Management).
Proven experience in data management and analysis, with a focus on project-related data.
Experience with PowerBI and Advanced MS Excel skills (macros, custom equations, database queries, pivot tables)
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data privacy principles.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies (e.G., SQL, Excel, data visualization tools).
Familiarity with data integration and architecture concepts.
Project management skills and experience, preferably within a PMO.
Experience using SAP
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with devising financial and project reporting solutions, including knowledge of Project Portfolio Management software



Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$39.58 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
