Job Description


This opportunity is on-site and is located at 5000 Bayway Drive, Baytown, TX 77520.



A Nurse II provides occupational health services typically at multiple sites or operations, and provides regional or global nursing support through appropriate networks and committees.

Typically certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provides and documents services as well as guidance to other health professionals in the provision and documentation of services relating to routine, non routine and complex Occupational Health care of employees and others as determined by local site management within the professional scope and standards of license.
Develops local policies and procedures in consultation with local Occupational Health professionals.
Determines and communicates Fitness For Work and trains others in the provision of this service including the following: case management of injury/illness, routine and non routine travel preparation, occupational evaluations, may be providing regional or global support
Performs, analyzes, and evaluates Health Screening data to identify possible workplace exposures as required by global Medical and Occupational Health (MOH) and applicable local laws and regulations. Makes recommendations to management based on individual and worker group results. Would also be training others to provide this service.
Trains external medical services providers to ensure services provided are delivered in accordance with ExxonMobil guidelines.
Coordinates Alcohol and Drug Use (ADU) testing services as needed
Actively participates in MOH and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) committees, projects and initiatives. May involve some lead responsibilities at a regional level
Manages clinic resources effectively and appropriately

Scope of Work specific to this Assignment:

C/ NP Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform pre-placement & periodic exams, detect adverse health effects (including hearing shifts) that may interfere with a safe work environment.
Evaluate employees for return to work and fitness for duty.
Employee case management including making recommendations for limitations deemed appropriate for that employee, coordinating with supervisors and HR.
After-hours on call participation required
Travel to sites within company complex to perform exams as provider for MOH may be necessary.
Assist with process flow for the clinic, e.G. Bring employees to the triage room, take vitals, etc.
Procedures such as conducting A&D testing, blood draw, hearing and/or fit testing, and immunization administration may be needed as well.
Additional: COVID case management and calls.



Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Behavioral Skills: analytical, communicates effectively, courage of conviction, manages risk
Functional Skills: clinical case management, clinical testing, exposure assessment and controls, health education and promotion / counseling, infectious disease control program management, medical and research ethics, medication clearance assessment, occupational evaluations, occupational health laws, regulations, and company standards, occupational health program management, travel health preparation and assessment, emergency preparedness and response
Masters Degree Required (Nursing degree, Advanced Nursing degree, Physician Assistant or equivalent)
Licensed in the location of operations supported.
Detailed knowledge of occupational medicine, emergency medical response, toxicology, legal issues relevant to occupational health care.

Certifications Required to start - DOT Drug & Alcohol Specimen Collection & NIOSH/CAOHC

Must have/obtain Medical Malpractice insurance; will need to add Cenergy as an additional insured and have a waiver of subrogation.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $62.00-$65.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
