Roles and Responsibilities:
Mechanical Design Engineer on a small team to perform Missile and Pod technical data package updates over a 24 month period in preparation for full rate production of the hardware. Assignment includes: required design changes, cost reduction changes, supplier ramp-up to initial production.
Requires demonstrated skills in collaboration and completing engineering design and drawing tasks and release in a timely manner. This position is expected to work under the direction of a Lead Design Engineer and the candidate must have the ability to collaborate with supporting functions of Stress Analysis, Materials and Processes, Test, Production, and senior Mechanical Engineers to mature the tech data package (TDP), or released engineering, for production.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Basic Required Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum # of years experience should align to the level selected
Geometric Dimension and Tolerance understanding
3D CAD modeling and drafting experience
Past performance as an individual contributor
Experience with formalized drawing release process and configuration management
Desired Qualifications:
Strong performance in a small team environment
Missile or Rocket program experience
Creo CAD software
Windchill PDM software
***Worksite Classification: Worker will Telework < 50%.
Initially the role will require them to be onsite full-time to get acclimated to the role, those they will be working with, and the hardware and labs that they may need to interface with. Once this period has finished, they should be able to work from home 1 day/week out of the 4 scheduled work days. This is assuming there is solid performance.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $49.00-59.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
