Job Description


The main function of a warehouse worker is to receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse or storage yard.

Roles and Responsibilities



Blending Helper Specific Job Duties:

Work rules:
o Check in with HO first thing in the morning. Determine if HO needs you to do anything specific. Check back in with HO after lunch break.
o Take work direction from HO, but Operations may also provide work direction as well
o Dedicated work station in corner of blending control room
o Never go to railcar rack or truck rack without being directed to from Operations
o Keep radio on you at all times; radio holster available if wanted
o Locker: can use locker above blending
o Learn how to operator drum picker and propane truck to refill citrosol
Typical day:
o Blending duties:
Check with pumper to make sure it s ok to start tipping drums to drain/dry
Forklift inspections and check water on the forklift battery
Empty drum trailer
Notify HO when drum trailer is almost full, and then HO can call warehouse to confirm we have an empty trailer in the field
Cut plastic off drums before sending them upstairs
Monitor sample bottle stock and replenish as needed
Take empty pallets to the recyclable pallet area behind warehouse
Pick up packages at Door 5
Replenish citrisol tank at truck rack; will need to drive the propane forklift truck over at the welding bay
Monitor inventory shelves and keep tidy
Update hot house white boards
o Tank field duties:
Walk the tank field and put debris in the bins
Monitor oil absorbent drip pans in tank field and replace as necessary
Housekeeping responsibilities:
Empty garbage bins
Sweep
Empty plastic bin
Dump buckets under kettles
Citrosol for cleaning up substances
Report any potential leaks or cracks in the containment
o Additive receiving duties**:
Some days trucks with additives arrive late in the day (after 2: 30), so we may need you to stay over on overtime to offload and receive
See Kim s additive receiving procedure, call HO/Operations with any questions so we re ensuring we don t receive additives that do not belong to us
Give HO list of additive movements
When receive new additive drums, ensure oldest drums are positioned at the front
For each drum, update magnetic boards with the product, product code, batch number, expiration date; ensure white boards are updated
Meet with POPS periodically to ensure alignment of additive receiving expectations and schedule of additive deliveries



Qualifications and Education Requirements:



Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years experience required.

Forklift Certification Required

Valid Driver s License Required
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $19.00- $ 20.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
