Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities



  • Rebuild pumps and gear boxes with the knowledge to replace seals, bearings, housings impellers and proper tolerances.



  • Pipefitting as required.



  • Repair and maintenance of instrumentation and accompanying equipment.



  • Provide electronic expertise for construction repair, wiring and maintenance on the plant s electrical service, equipment, lighting etc.



  • Install, maintain and repair all plant machinery and equipment.



  • Repair control valves and instrumentation.



  • Maintain 400 HP Boiler.



  • Maintain air compressor.



  • Maintain company truck.



  • Maintain forklift(s).



  • Clean and coat equipment with proper coatings.



  • Develop and maintain files on all systems with spare parts inventory.



  • Supply Purchasing Dept. With requisition forms on all materials, spare parts, or other items needed.



  • Work with contractors when necessary.



  • Provide regular maintenance reports to manager.



  • Perform routine daily and preventive maintenance.



  • Perform all other duties as assigned.



  • Maintain awareness of food safety, regulatory and code responsibilities, role in meeting these requirements and be responsible to report any potential food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate corrective actions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


High school diploma or GED

Requirements:



  • all plant machinery and equipment.

Requirements:



  • 1+ year Maintenance experience



  • TWIC Card



  • Must be able to wear respiratory protection.



  • The employee occasionally will be required to enter the process and raw material unloading areas. Access to these areas may require climbing stairs or ladders and/or traversing metal grid flooring.



  • Normal dexterity is required for computer data entry and occasional use of hand tools may be required for equipment adjustment or repair.



  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.



  • The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.E., food services, general labor, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.E., inspection, etc.)

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.



Pay Rate:
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
