Cell Lathe Machinist- 2nd Shift
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
The Cell Machinist performs a complete range of operations on all types of materials on a multi- axis lathe. The incumbent is not required to be an expert in more than one family (lathes, mills, grinder, etc.) of machines. In their area of specialty, the incumbent performs set-ups and all other machinist level functions. The incumbent is expected to participate in the planning of work within the Cell and to help solve problems occurring within the Cell. They are responsible for the inspection of all work performed; detecting unusual conditions, defective materials, and deviate parts; and recognizing errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of Lathe Machinist experience which will preferably include at least 1 year of experience with Mazak Lathes.
The ability to set up and run CNC Lathe with little supervision.
A demonstrated ability to use inspection and measuring tools including, but not limited to, comparators, micrometers, calipers, surface gauge, & gauge pins.
Demonstrated ability to read and operate from blueprints (GD&T), operation sheets and other written instructions.
Must be able to work an off shift

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $24.00-34.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
