Position Type: Contract (6 months)
Work Schedule: Monday Friday; 8am - 5pm
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Complete incoming inspection and/or chemical analysis of raw materials in accordance with defined procedures and specifications. Results of the evaluation are documented on the appropriate component inspection report.
Complete chemical analysis of finished products in accordance with defined procedures and specifications. Results of the evaluation are recorded in the device history record.
Ability to identify and properly report out of specification test results.
Complete device history record review and release approval of products in accordance with finished product inspection procedures.
Complete calibration of laboratory instruments and balances in accordance with defined procedures.
Complete visual inspection of product labeling prior to the issuance of the prepared labels to manufacturing.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies that are required to complete the responsibilities of the position.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Create, review, and approve product certifications.
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:
Gas Chromatography experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and prioritizing skills
Computer literacy
Educational Requirements:
AS Degree in a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $22 - $23 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
