Job Description


Responsibilities:



  • Perform experiments following instructions set by the project requestor.



  • Make keen observations and be cognizant of opportunities.



  • Adjust experimentation and problem solve as needed.



  • Must be able to record and organize data.



  • Manage multiple projects at once.



  • Report results in a coherent and understandable manner.



  • Acquire a working knowledge of formulation practices and of application test methods typical for the architectural coatings industries.



Perform lab activities required to maintain ISO, 5S, and safety compliance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


Bachelor's degree in a chemistry related field and 1+ years practical laboratory experience OR associate's degree in a chemistry related field and 3+ years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field OR High School Diploma and 5+ years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field

Requirements:



  • Experience with coatings or color matching would be preferrable.



  • Bachelor's degree in a chemistry related field and 1+ years practical laboratory experience OR associate's degree in a chemistry related field and 3+ years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field OR High School Diploma and 5+ years practical laboratory experience in a chemical related field



  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
