Job Description


Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to operate simple and sophisticated lab reactors. This includes:

  • Daily preparation of reactors for operation (handling of compressed gas cylinders & liquid nitrogen, safety inspection)



  • Installation of catalyst samples in the reactor and conduct required testing.



  • Monitor reactor operation and document activities through databases and log sheets.



  • Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and repairs.



  • Complete routine scheduled preventive maintenance on reactor and basic checks of analytical instrumentation.



  • Advise supervisor and reactor engineer when standard procedures are not applicable.



  • Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of testing labs



  • Troubleshooting mechanical and some electrical issues.



  • Repair or replace as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


High school diploma or Associates or Bachelors



Requirements:



  • Prior experience with plumbing or piping work is valued.



  • Understanding basics of catalytic cracking reaction, fluidized bed reactor, gas analysis is a plus.



  • Able to lift 50 pounds.



  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office software to report data.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.


Pay Range:



The pay range for this position is $26.85 - $27.85 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
