Roles and Responsibilities:
Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Instrumentation Technician to join them. You will report to the Development Laboratory Supervisor and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Niagara Falls, New York.
As an Instrumentation Technician, you will:
Execute the test firing of rocket engines.
Program, set up, and operate data acquisition DAQ systems for hot fire testing of liquid rocket engines.
Perform complex assignments involving the set up and running of data acquisition (DAQ) systems and data reduction software which includes the calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
Contribute practical solutions to problems that may arise while completing assigned tasks.
Perform data reduction of hot fire tests.
Determine proper connection of test cell instruments to the DAQ.
Set up and verify test cell instrumentation systems.
Perform complex modification and repair of electronic systems and components.
Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gages, transducers, flow meters, and force systems.
Work to controlled documentation, procedures, and drawings.
Occasionally work in and around rocket test cells.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
To be considered for Instrumentation Technician, here s what you ll need to bring with you:
High School diploma or GED required.
An Associates degree in related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 6 years of related experience.
OR
Four-year technical degree in related field with at least 2 years as an APDT or 4 years of related experience.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $25.00-35.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
