Roles and Responsibilities:
Contractors will train on 1st shift. Clearance not required to begin work.
What are the main functions of this role?: Candidate position is for a technician in the B03 Manufacturing Facility in Goleta, California, involved in the building, testing, and/or packaging of sub-assemblies for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. The successful candidate will train to become an operator in a variety of processes as assigned by management. Operators will train under a senior operator, operator lead, or process engineer depending on the skill set requirements and sensitivity of the operation involved. The successful candidate will work well with others and be able to effectively communicate in English with other operators, management/supervision, process engineers, and other support staff. Rigorous attention to detail and the ability to read and follow work instructions in English is required. A self-motivated, self-disciplined individual is the ideal candidate for this position. Ability to work with individuals and teams outside the department will be required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Operators will be expected to wear company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety-related processes, procedures, and protocols. Most work will be performed during normal shift hours, but occasional overtime and weekend support may be required to meet customer/program needs. The exact hours worked will be negotiated with the contractor and management to obtain an acceptable work-life balance.
Required Skill Sets: wear PPE for extended periods of time in environmentally-controlled area, good manual dexterity, basic math skills, basic computer literacy, attention to detail, compliance with verbal and written direction, ability to work with/through a microscope with small parts
Desired Skill Sets: Experience working in an ESD environment, understanding of FOD sensitivity, manufacturing experience, familiarity working with adhesives, paints, and other chemicals, experience with Excel, Outlook, Teams, & Word
Years of Experience Required (if any): 4 years work experience
Education Level Required: High School or equivalent
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $25.00-30.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
