The position is a hands-on, engineering hardware-focused technician that will support the Statics Group of the Structural and Environmental Laboratory within the Engineering Technology Department s.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The applicant will need the ability to receive drawing packages/wiring diagrams/schematics from the Design Engineering Group, decipher the mechanical scope required for buildup/teardown of large-scaled structural load test setups, mechanical troubleshooting/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components, and occasional implementation of metal fabrication and welding practices for repairs. Additional responsibilities of the role require support of our proof load services provided to our Metrology Group to visually inspect and apply periodic loading on engineering/development and production/deliverable tooling. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Level 1: BS+0-2 YRS
Minimum HS Diploma / GED & 5+ years experience.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $21.00-31.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
