Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is repair or assembly of electrical components in support of production aircraft. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25lbs. These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.

Minimum HS Diploma / GED



Requirements:

1. Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.

2. Familiarity with J-STD-001 & IPC-610 processes Experience with surface mount technology and processes. Including hand soldering of individual components and fine pitch connectors.

3. Familiarity with electronic hand tools in manufacturing processes.

4. Ability to follow complex work instructions and specifications.

5. Ability to Assemble electrical harnesses and chassis assemblies



Must Have Skills:

1. Experience reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $26.00-36.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
