Roles and Responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineering candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, coordination and technical oversight of subsystem supplier efforts, and ensuring prime contract requirements are flowed to suppliers. Candidate with also provide disposition of hardware (MRBE), and support production of the rocket system at an offsite production facility.

This individual will own their subsystem and drive actions to closure to support program needs and production schedule. This position will support weekly supplier meetings, communicate issues directly to program leaders, both LM and Government customer. Candidates must be willing to learn the rocket system, each sub-system, and how it interacts with the launcher as well as the automated production testing equipment. The candidate should have a bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 3-4 years of experience in development, production, and supplier support. Candidate will need to be able to obtain MRBE status with the appropriate training/mentoring.



This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:



Working within a team of Electrical Engineers to evaluate electrical/electronic production failures and determine the appropriate root cause and corrective actions.

Independently perform complex troubleshooting on electrical/electronic systems.

Hands-On troubleshooting using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment.

Understanding and interpreting schematics and performance requirements related to the rocket system and subsystems.

Work within a cross-functional team to effectively address integration and interface challenges faced during production.

Support engineering activities with subject matter experts.

Creation of technical documentation describing test failures and troubleshooting procedures that comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.

Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans and contract requirements.

May support engineers in the development of technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

Effectively communicating technical issues to a variety of different stakeholders including program management, customers, and subject matter experts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Required Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum # of years experience should align to the level selected

Past performance as an individual contributor

Experience with production hardware disposition

Experience with electrical hardware troubleshooting

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical (CCA) schematics



Desired Qualifications:

Previous MRBE experience

Experience in Quality note (Q-Note) dispositions

Strong performance in a small team environment

Missile or Rocket program experience



***Worksite Classification: Worker will Telework < 50%.

Initially the role will require them to be onsite full-time to get acclimated to the role, those they will be working with, and the hardware and labs that they may need to interface with. Once this period has finished, they should be able to work from home 1 day/wk out of the 4 scheduled work days. This is assuming there is solid performance.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $62.00-72.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
