This opportunity is on-site and is located  in Beaumont, TX 77701
12-month assignment

The Document Control Coordinator (DCC) focuses on all aspects of document control within Pipeline Project. Receives Handover guidance from Document for Operations (DFO) and Information Management Lead (IML) as needed.


Roles and Responsibilities:
Act as focal point to receive and transmit formal documentation between Company and Contractor
Implement the Information Management Plan, and supporting Construction phase document control procedures
Comply to Company Records Management Program and Management and Protection of Information
Comprehend and enforce the Information Management sections of Project Plans, Contract Coordination Procedures, and Purchase Orders.
Perform Quality Checks on Engineering and Supplier deliverables (Doc number, title, revision, date etc, file formats, documentation compilations, etc.) to comply with Project requirements including specifically Manufacturing Record Books, Vendor Mechanical Catalogues and Fabrication Records for Construction Phase.
Confirm existence and ensure suitability as well as accuracy of Master Document Registers (MDRs), Supplier Master Document Registers (SMDRs), and Document Distribution Matrixes (DDMs).
Ensure contractor and supplier documentation deliverables meet contract requirements by performing quality checks for compliance and initiating corrective actions.
Report progress in completion of deliverables, issue look ahead, and overdue reports.
Actively participate in project meetings and anticipate information management needs.
Prepare training materials and conduct Project Information Management onboarding with the Project Team (PT).
Train clerical staff in handling of Contractor, Supplier and PT generated documentation in accordance with overall Information Management Plan and supporting project procedures.
Validate Contractor provided deliverables and associated MDR/SMDR metadata to support data transfer to from Company to Operations EDMS.
Support Document for Operations (DFO) and Information Management Lead (IML) as required
Support review of Contractor compilation of DFO final deliverables and records close out

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
University degree is desirable with preference for technical disciplines
Demonstrate 5+ years experience for Pipelines Project within company environment focuses on ensuring that Contractors clearly understands the requirements for Information Management and Documents for Operations within their respective Project area reporting to Overall Project Information Management/Documents for Operations Lead
Demonstrate Company information management requirements to implement integrity of controls within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start Up and Handover Phases for Pipelines Project.
Must have Aconex (Project) and Open Text (GPLNG) Electronic Document Management experience
Strong written communication skills including proven ability to create procedures and presentations as well as routine interactions with Project teams.
High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures including AutoCADD
8+ years industry working experience in areas of operations and/or project technical support, including working experience with document management, and IT systems and tools.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
