Schedule:

5/2 40hrs/week



Contract Term:

12 months possible extension

Purpose & Accountabilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to supplement existing Information Management (IM) team capacity to progress value associated to quality, effective, and efficient document processing for the project.

The top accountabilities of this role:

  1. Support the delivery of Document Control Service for the Phase 2 project



  2. Ensure the adherence to the Company and Contractor(s) delivery



  3. Enable more value through continuous improvement, process simplification and quality assurance.



This role will help enable project delivery and contribute to:

  1. Ensuring Contractor(s) adherence to Company defined Specifications and Procedures (timely delivery, quality assurance, Company reviews); updating as required based on agreed Contractor(s) clarifications



  2. Supporting the Phase 2 project team in the processing of documents



  3. Improving and ensuring adherence to Company Document Control specifications and procedures for ongoing transmittals, document quality assurance and quality control, correspondence, and archiving procedures



  4. Informal leadership delegate when required for Document Control team s operational processes and delivery



  5. Driving improvements within Document Control and broader IM scope through leadership, standards, behaviors, and innovation using LNG Canada IM solutions (Assai Cloud, Procon, SharePoint, Digital Chrysalis, etc.)





Dimensions:

This position is within the Project IMIT team supporting the overall Phase 2 project team. This challenging role has the following dimensions:

  1. Support the Document Control Lead in day to day operations of the document processing



  2. Learning mindset to continuously improve, optimize, and simplify document control activities and services across multiple locations, and multiple projects within Phase 2



  3. Working and communicating effectively in a highly virtualized environment in a geographically diverse and multicultural team



  4. Mentoring various disciplines on the Phase 2 Project to ensure they follow the information specifications, standards, and procedures



  5. Work in a fast moving, rapidly changing and dynamic environment of a mega flagship Capital Project



  6. Help champion the successful use of digital IM solutions to enable effective and efficient document management and document control



Skills & Requirements:

  1. Technical and Business Skills:



    1. Substantial experience in Information Management in Capital Projects



    2. Previous experience as Document Controller is preferred



    3. Experience working with Assai Cloud as a document control document management tool would be an asset



    4. Working experience with Aveva, Kongsberg Digital Twin, Sharepoint, Procon and Power BI



    5. Breadth and depth of knowledge in cross-discipline engineering documents (requirements and use cases) and technical review/approval workflow



    6. Knowledge of Records Management principles and implementation methods



  2. Education and Work History



    1. A university degree in Engineering, Science or Information Technology or equivalent



    2. 5+ years experience working on a Major Capital project or Asset in an IM related roles



  3. Leadership and Interpersonal Skills



    1. Willingness to take ownership and motivate team to deliver combined with willingness to perform hands-on work



    2. Provide support to Project Document Control Lead on various initiatives including but not limited to application deployment/testing, gap analysis, process improvement and communication to stakeholders



    3. Strong attention to details and good time management skills



    4. Experience working with a geographically diverse team



    5. A high degree of skill in written and oral communications



    6. Strong influencing skills, including virtually



    7. Ability to work flex hours to accommodate various locations

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $30-40 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
