Schedule is  Full Time

The primary function of this role is the sustainment and enhancement of core analytics capabilities, combining software development with engineering and scientific knowledge to meet evolving research needs. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications across a broad technology portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot existing research workflows and data analysis systems and applications.
Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of research laboratory work process improvements.
Maintain and enhance research laboratory analytics systems and applications to meet evolving research requirements.
Define requirements, design, and develop broadly leveraged data analytics platforms as well as custom solutions for diverse research workflows.
Automate data processing for new research pilot plant and laboratory bench scale units.
Collaborate with researchers, research support services personnel and IT providers to deliver complete research data delivery and visualization solutions.

Supports testing, debugging, and refining the applications to produce the required product.

Devises and provides programming solution approaches to problems and issues.

Helps prepare both program-level and user-level documentation.

Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
This position would typically include senior Developer who is able to perform tasks of high complexity and difficulty. Such individual could also manage and train other team members and lead projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

College degree in related field or High School Diploma with related experience

o Strong analytical and problem solving skills
o Strong communication and documentation skills
o Detail oriented and capable of executing standard processes
o Minimum 5 years experience developing and supporting applications in a pilot plant, laboratory or research environment (e.G. LIMS, ELN, etc.)
o Minimum 1 year experience with COM/VB6/VBA/MS Office automation
o Minimum 2 years experience with Python 3+
o Minimum 2 years experience with C#/VB .Net (4, Core, 5+)
o Minimum 2 years experience with relational database systems (Oracle & SQL Server SQL, database design, stored procedures, etc.)
o Source code management (Git/GitHub, TFS/ADO, SVN, etc.)
o Experience with Azure cloud deployments
o Experience with ASP.Net Core Blazor, MVC Razor, Web API, Minimal API
o Experience with web frontend development HTML, CSS, JS

Proficiency in project-specific tools, applications and languages.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
