Job Description


The Continuous Improvement Manager will provide expertise in implementing the Continuous Improvement plan and initiatives. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. The Continuous Improvement Manager will provide expertise in implementing the Continuous Improvement plan and initiatives. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
Job Core Responsibilities
1. Analyzes, measures, and reports the effectiveness of existing manufacturing processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
2. Effectively applies improvement initiatives and all related activities in the facility.
3. Assists in training and skills enhancement for all employees with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques
4. Participates in providing technical expertise and implements lean principles, techniques, and methods
5. Provides expertise when recommending solutions to problems and implementation of corrective actions
6. Participates in the evaluation of new technologies and determines how they can support engineering business processes
7. Assists in maintaining a safe production environment
8. Other responsibilities as assigned
9. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
10. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


Education: Bachelor's Degree required
Years Experience:
1. Min 3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
2. LEAN practitioner
Skills:
1. Ability to provide special knowledge and expertise while implementing continuous improvement
2. Experience with Manufacturing cells and materials.
3. Implementing specific elements of LEAN.
4. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
5. Competent in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control
6. Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines, using available resources
7. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Software applications, Excel, and Word
8. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills



Preferred Skills:



Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $97, 000-$129, 300 yearly; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
