The Construction Scheduler position is an integral part of the Construction Services Group.
This role is responsible for integrating multi-vendor schedules and ensuring visibility of all construction related activities.
Creates work instructions, sequence of tasks, and duration of tasks for job plans. Utilizes management systems and tools (such as Maximo, Salesforce, Primavera, InEight, and Touchplan) to plan, schedule, communicate and track maintenance activity ensuring alignment with production/operations coordinators. Oversees contractor schedules for equipment delivery and execution.
Supports larger capital projects and may lead small projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
This position will support the scheduling of construction activities using Primavera P6
software following scheduling standards.
Manage weekly Touchplan activities
Work with other team members on duration and critical path estimates.
Review schedule progress and validate on a regular basis with the Construction Team.
Work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure schedule is resource loaded and
accurate.
Reconcile duration and manhour estimates with third-party contractors.
Generate reports and update project schedules to include any scope changes on a
weekly or as needed basis
Review and verify all project related scheduling information with project teams
During Construction execution, communicate critical path, and any other areas of
concern to construction leadership.
Document all lessons learned from all phases of planning.
Adopt digital tools as rolled out for use and provide feedback to product owners.
ASSIGNMENT DELIVERABLES: Assemble fully integrated contract schedule from multiple vendors and EPC's across Capital Project Space. Leverage previous experience and stakeholder input to optimize visual representation and key milestones. Steward the schedule and ensure consistent accuracy to drive KPI adherence.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Advanced Primavera P6 experience
5-10 years of relevant planning/scheduling experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
Strong leadership experience and skills
High school diploma.
Valid Driver s license

Preferred Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. In Construction Management (Industrial track preferred)
Field planning experience (mechanical, fabrication, or electrical)
Power BI or Power Automate experience
1 hr. Interviews with 3 person panel
In-Person interviews preferred although virtual will be allowed
Contract extension is possible but not guaranteed
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $45.00-$48.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
