Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The technician is expected to conduct experiments in wet laboratory, assisting Chemist in their lab work.
- Perform testing on raw materials & finished products, following approved specifications.
- Perform repetitive lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
- Conduct tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
- Develop methods to reproduce customer problems to correct issues into production facilities.
- Recognize trend, deviations & problems and promptly report them to chemist.
- Following laboratory safety procedures to ensure standards compliance.
- Complete testing with a high degree of efficiency, reliability and accuracy
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred. Entry level position.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in wet chemistry laboratory
- Required to lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
- Must have lab experience
