Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

The primary function of an inspector is inspecting and directing Inspectors in the construction, operation and maintenance of gas facilities.



CWI Inspector/ Auditor

QA Documentation and Field work.



Inspector will be knowledgeable of and follow all safety rules, procedures and practices. Inspector acting in conjunction with client representative will assist and/or direct and insure that the other Inspectors perform work with the correct operating procedures necessary to perform proper installations. Inspector will, be directed by client representative, and report to assigned locations. Inspector will exhibit an adequate competency level pertaining to activities delineated in the Duties and Qualifications sections of this job description. Demonstrate such competency via performance of job duties and Operator Qualifications prescribed by the client. Inspector will, during the normal performance of his duties, watch for and promptly report to the client representative any damaged or defective equipment or conditions which may cause damage or injury. Inspector will insure all equipment, tools, materials and work areas are in a clean and orderly condition. Inspector will report as directed to any facility for any shift where needed. Inspector will perform work in a responsible and cooperative manner to facilitate a positive working environment. Inspector will compile information and generate reports, forms and documents as required. Inspector will represent the Company to the community with attention to the highest standard of conduct, appearance and attitude. Inspector will report, to proper client representative, job progress and all problems, or other factors which affect the job

Qualifications and Education Requirements:



Skills/Qualifications: Inspector must meet all qualifications as required by Federal, State and Municipal regulations as applies to this position. Inspector must be able to speak, understand, read and write English, and be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Inspector must have working knowledge of the use of the tools and equipment required in the work. Inspector must be thoroughly familiar with the Company Safety Rules and willingly see that they are enforced. Inspector must have a valid state driver's license and pass the Transportation Department? S driver? S test for operating Company vehicles, including those with manual transmissions. Inspector must be willing to work inside and outside under varying weather conditions. Inspector must be willing to report as directed to any facility for any shift where needed. Inspector must be in good health and be able to perform the physical requirements of the job. Inspector must be willing and able to communicate through both verbal and written reports. Inspector must have demonstrated ability to carry through work assignments, and conduct himself/herself in a manner that encourages cooperation and satisfactory work from others. Inspector must have demonstrated exceptional skill and knowledge in the work area and leadership as a Mains and Service Mechanic. Inspector must have demonstrated the reliability and leadership ability necessary to coordinate the work of Inspectors and elicit the cooperation of fellow workers. Inspector must have knowledge of our know how to reference all client company Gas Standards, Policy and Procedures.



Must be certified as active CWI

Hs Diploma or equivalent required

Local Candidates preferred

Must have prior CWI Inspections/ Auditing experience within a refinery



Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.




Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $60.00-$65.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
