Schedule: M-F (8 AM to 5 PM)
Weekend and holiday work will be required on a rotational basis

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the team to conduct assays in the laboratory focusing on biological performance of agrochemicals. The candidate will routinely select and prepare plants for experiments, apply insects to plants, and record experimental results.
- Additionally, the candidate may support the work by propagating plants and/or maintaining insects needed for the studies.
- The candidate will work in laboratory and greenhouse environments, and be willing and able to handle plants, insects and chemicals of unknown toxicity with appropriate PPE.
- Daily work will include routine tasks including preparing plants, insects and chemical solutions, evaluating the effectiveness of potential insecticides, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
AS or AAS degree in a biological field with some laboratory experience is desired.
Requirements:
- Computer skills required: MS Word and MS Excel. Weekend and holiday work will be required on a rotational basis.
- A background in entomology or experience in crop protection, and agricultural insecticide applications is highly desirable.
