Alaska Overview
Company Alaska and its heritage companies have more than 50 years of business history in Alaska. As Alaska s largest oil and gas producer, the company produced an average 182 thousand barrels of oil and 9 million cubic feet of gas per day. Company, with about 1, 100 Alaska employees, holds major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay Unit, the Kuparuk River Unit, and the Colville River Unit (Alpine). Company operates the Kuparuk and Alpine oil fields, has an ownership interest in the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.

Aviation Operations Support Overview
Company in Alaska operates three De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 aircraft to transport of workers from Anchorage to oil and gas production facilities located on the North Slope of Alaska. The company currently operates 15 weekly roundtrip flights to the North Slope (Monday through Friday), with occasional additional support flights on the weekends. The company also operates a CASA 212 and De Havilland Twin Otter based in Alpine to provide North Slope inter-field transportation of personnel and freight. The Aviation Operations Support group coordinates aviation activities to meet Company s business needs. The group interfaces with flight operations, ticket counters, outstations, ground operations, fueling contractors, field superintendents, airports, and others to coordinate the safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of company aviation assets.
The Aviation Operations Support group also administrates the iLogistics passenger reservation system. Although the group does use the system to make reservations for a small group of passengers, the group s main function is to interface with travel planners, maintain the integrity of the system, and test system updates before implementation.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Utilize iLogistics reservation management system for flight scheduling and reservation coordination activities to ensure accurate input of data supporting accurate passenger manifests and accurate operations reporting.
- Administrate iLogistics travel reservations software to support company travel planners located at North Slope oil and gas production facilities and the office complex in downtown Anchorage.
- Coordinate company aircraft and flight crews to maintain flights to the North Slope.
- Coordinate and communicate operations with company operations personnel and appropriate customers.
- Monitor the movement of company aircraft using tracking software. Initiate and support emergency response protocols when required.
- Transmit weather and runway condition and other operations information to pilots via ground-to-air radio communications.
- Actively participate and support irregular operations (weather delays, aircraft mechanical issues, flight crew scheduling). Coordinate and communicate with flight crews, cabin crews, ticket counter, production fields, operations support, etc.
- Coordinate and disseminate daily operations information to applicable personnel.
- Coordinate with flight crew during pre-flight briefings; provide passenger manifest, current operations information, coordinate aircraft weight/balance and fuel loading.
- Maintain records of passenger manifests, trip data and verify commercial billings to ensure accurate reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Be available to work various shifts. Most work shifts will be between Monday and Friday, with occasional, but rare requirements to work on weekends, depending on operational needs.
- Work unscheduled overtime and holidays, to support irregular operations and support the AOS team, as required.



Qualifications


Basic/Required:
- 3 plus years of experience in an administrative or customer service-related role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimum supervision.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office and software applications.

Preferred:
- Holder of FAA Aircraft Dispatch License or 3 plus years of flight following experience with an FAA-regulated aircraft operator.
- 3 plus years of experience in aviation operations, preferably with similar duties as responsibilities posted in this description.
- Previous experience using a passenger reservations system, preferably iLogistics.
- Knowledge of North Slope operations

Education:
HS Diploma or Equivalen

Work Schedule:
5-40 Schedule (8Hr Days) - 5 days on / 2 days off

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
