Client:

The Client is Canada's second-largest oil company, involved in extracting oil and gas, refining it into usable products, and selling them through gas stations. They're a major player in Canada's energy sector.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
Provides administrative support to a department or individual. Duties may include: typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, calendaring, record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and/or sorting/distributing mail. May work on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting and analyzing information. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize. Strong communication skills and organizational skills are required. Proficiency with MS Office required. Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.

This position would typically include senior Administrative Assistant who is able to manage, train and mentor other office staff, lead projects, handle confidential and sensitive data. Nature of the job is generally creating rather than maintaining and developing rather than monitoring.
o Ordering equipment/services/supplies PO/PCard
o Capital Projects
o Includes opening/overseeing budgets/closing
o Invoice submissions
Work task completion tracking/stewardship
Personnel Management
Book/Track Third Party training
Overtime submissions
Manage team Vacation/On Call Schedule
Answering vendor inquiries
resolve payment issues
Schedule Group Meetings
o Lunch orders
o Coordinate events
IT/HR Support
o IT requests, Asset returns, etc
o Personnel Updates EMConnect
Filing (Iron Mountain Management, RMG clean up)


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and email systems, strong administrative coordination abilities, customer service experience



Schedule:

5/2

18 months contract



Drivers abstract required.
Will be required to use personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursable after Imperial gate.
H2S Alive required.
Working at heights
WHMIS
TDG
Imperial specific training will be supplied after employment.
Regulatory measurement experience will be an asset.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $20-30 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location

Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
