About the Role
Implementation of the ERP (SAP Blueprint) is a core foundation for Client. ERP implementations are inherently complex due to the integrated nature of the set-up of SAP and its connected landscape, large volumes of master data to be created, the requirement to embed strategic decisions in large volumes of planning data and the size of the deployment. As such the project team is looking for individuals with experience in this landscape to help the Company asset achieve its goal of a seamless and integrated SAP implementation.
The SAP Program requires IT BA resources focusing on Finance (FI), Manage Supply Chain (MSC) and Maintenance (PM) business areas.
Principal Accountabilities
Work with key business resources to define requirements
Support the Solution Architect with the Solution Architecture High Level Design (SAHLD) and the Detailed Design
Support Information Risk Management (IRM) with the Business Impact Assessment (BIA), Legal and Regulatory Assessment (LRA) and documenting relevant IRM Controls
Work with IT technical teams to develop solutions
Create or assist in creating the Test Plan and coordinate Test Execution throughout program milestones
Support deployment of the solution and the Transition to Support and Operations
Support user training activities
Coordinate Program Change Requests
Lead connected application integrations to/from SAP FI and MSC
Assist Digital Team with SAP FI and MSC integrations
Experience and Qualifications
Education/Skills/Experience:
IT or Computer Science post-secondary education
IT solution delivery experience
Business Analyst experience (+5 years)
Relevant business area experience (eg. FI, MSC, PM)
Familiar with Shell IT Project Delivery Framework (PDF or industry equivalent) leveraging agile and waterfall methodology (desirable)
Ability to manage business changes in the IT project execution
Capital Project related experience (desirable)
Past Asset Operations organization experience (desirable)
PowerBI experience (desirable)
SAP Experience:
Direct experience with SAP (ie. Blueprint) and applicable modules as per IT BA role
o FI (Finance)
o MSC (Manage Supply Chain)
o PM (Plant Maintenance)
o CP (Contract Procurement)
o MM (Materials Management)
o CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Knowledge of other SAP modules, ie. PS (Project Services)
Knowledge of Category Management & Contracting Processes (CMCP)
Knowledge of Finance end to end business processes
Experience in implementing complex solutions for SAP with connected applications
Expertise in identifying and resolving business process issues
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
Effectively establishes and handles contacts with stakeholders of all types and at all levels in the organization
Communicates effectively and understands the needs of non-technical internal clients
Analyzes and interprets data focusing on the business perspective
Frames issues accurately and succinctly, translating the business requirements into IT operational / technical aspects
A high-energy team player that can effectively work virtually in diverse, cross-functional teams
Collaboration with other teams and projects and within the SAP end to end process

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $100-120 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
