Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Typical Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with a senior talent consultant, perform full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, posting jobs, candidate screening and extending job offers and maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. 
  • Analyzing job profiles/descriptions and candidate profiles/resumes to determine target profile needs and appropriate match.  
  • Entering job descriptions into applicant tracking system.  
  • Prepare interview schedule request forms and assist with monitoring background/pre-employment verifications. 
  • Applying company specific HR policies and procedures in addition to providing policy interpretation to hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Collaborating with clients and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business.
  • Actively participate in professional networking groups, job fairs, and other recruiting events.
  • Leveraging all available tools & resources to ensure full utilization and operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitating the hiring process and ensuring legal compliance.                                            
  • Developing recruiting action plans based on data analysis.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with full life cycle recruitment or supporting a team of senior recruiters.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Taleo).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of experience engaging high-potential prospects through targeted sourcing and cold calling
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
  • Provided recruiting efforts to support diversity and inclusion in workforce.
  • Worked in or familiarity with a utility or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity of affirmative action plans
  • Consulted with clients; facilitating discussions regarding recruiting and selection; ensuring that decisions adhere to corporate policies, guidelines, and requirements.
  • Worked collaboratively and effectively in a team environment for a large company.
  • Integrated work across relevant areas, manage risks and safety appropriately, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
