System Software Development Analyst - Level 2

Description

The primary output will be to spearhead the new electronic work request interface in SharePoint.  This person will work with lab personnel to understand the requirements for the electronic work request interface. Once the requirements are set, the designer will translate those requirements into SharePoint workflows integrated within the Mechanical Engineering Labs SharePoint site.

Mandatory:

-Excellent organizational skills.
-Demonstrated experience creating and managing Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath workflows.
-Demonstrated experience creating and managing Microsoft Access databases.
-Demonstrated experience troubleshooting data issues and validating results.
-Ability to effectively translate user requests into workflows.
-Very proficient in computing within a Windows-based MS Office-suite centered environment for communication, scheduling, data processing, and basic data transfer.
-Demonstrated sound writing and verbal communication skills.
-AA degree with focus on computer science

Desired:

-Minimum of 3 years Microsoft SharePoint experience.
-Strong analysis skills (ability to understand business needs and to help translate those into technical solutions).
-Ability to communicate with server/infrastructure administrators as well as developers and non-technical business constituents about the above technologies.
-Ability to work independently (self-starter) as well as play various implementation roles within the project team.
-BS degree CS/CIS/MIS
