Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking software engineers for technical support services to assist with the development of system and application integrations for the 1LMX Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Enterprise software platform, and its supporting arms like its Manufacturing Orchestration Framework (MOF). This 1LMX MES platform is implemented with Dassault Systemes DELMIA Apriso 2023 product, and the MOF implementation's industry-standard Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM), cloud-native and DevSecOps technologies.

The Manufacturing Orchestration Framework (MOF) is both a team construct and a logical representation within the 1LMX MES COE. For the COE s solution, it represents how other 1LMX portfolios interact with the company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) which can include but is not limited to exchanging messages and performing transactions. The team consists primarily of software engineers with a focus on the entire DevSecOps and SDLC lifecycle for its integrations with other systems or applications.

As a Middleware Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining middleware solutions and APIs that facilitate seamless communication and integration between different systems and applications, leveraging message queues and data transformation processes. You will play a critical role in optimizing system performance, ensuring scalability, and enhancing data flow across applications in global, classified and unclassified network environments in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise and development experience (typically BS degree or equivalent experience/combined education with 6-8 years of experience; or MS degree with 4-6 years), but will also have a strong understanding of operations processes and systems. To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented and have great communication skills and be able to collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of other disciplines. This role may have a flexible work week which includes some evening and weekend coverage. This role will also be 100% virtual (work from home) and works within a 4/10 schedule (Monday - Thursday Schedule, first shift.)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Level 3: BS+6-8 YRS or MS+4-6 YRS

Significant experience with middleware development on multiple architectures EIP, SOA, EAI, REST, WCF, EDI, XML, Flat file, etc.

Significant experience modeling business logic using modern middleware integration platforms

Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Processes and Platforms

Knowledge of ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and Software Engineering concepts, and frameworks like Apache Camel, MuleSoft, or TIBCO.
