Location:

Kitimat BC



Schedule:

50 Hrs/per week, 10hr days, which may need to be extended to 12-hour day/night shift during critical start-up activities. 12 hours per shift to align with team shift pattern, 7D - 7N - 4 Break. Start of shift will be communicated closer to critical start-up activities.



Contract Term:

12 months possible extension



About the Role

The Occupational Health and HSSE Admin will support to eliminate or minimize health and safety risks associated with its business activities.



To assist the Occupational Health and HSSE team, an admin staff member is required, who will be tasked with managing confidential information, booking follow up appointments, managing health screening data in accordance with local legislation and company policies.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Assist with on site and digital records management



  • Assist with initiating health monitoring programs though data management



  • Audit employee medical records to track information on upcoming health screening



  • Book appointments for audiometric testing



  • Book appointments for schedules health screening assessments.



  • Book appointments for fitness to work assessments



  • Forward assessment results and received employee documents to Occupational Health Physician and Occupational Health Nurse



  • Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality as per legislative requirements



To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills towards building relationships in a dynamic, integrated, diverse/multi-cultural environment



  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.



  • Excellent data management skills



  • Minimum 5 years experience with Occupational Health in an administrative role.



  • Working knowledge of Work Safe BC and Worker Compensation Act

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $30-40 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
