Accounting Specialist

Responsible for day to day maintenance of revenue related accounts, including accounts receivable/payable reconciliation, recording revenue and gas balancing entries, and recording/verification of payments for oil & gas production on properties in assigned areas.

  • Process Non-Op Revenue
  • Process and analyze electronic and manual remittance transactions
  • Reconcile cash transactions
  • Identify and allocate payments accurately and within the required time frame
  • Process and accurately record Daily Cash – ACH's Checks and wire transfers
  • Upload files to FileNet; make copies and packets; handle mail
  • EU and Excel experience a plus
  • End of month closing activities
  • Special projects as needed

  • Safety and Security - the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly


  • High School Diploma
  • Typically requires 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with 2+ years in the accounting area.
  • Oil and Gas experience highly recommended
